Such “Why me?” questions are not unusual, especially when things seem challenging. The mind can be our empathetic friend or a vicious foe depending on how we choose to nourish it. Sometimes we may recognize our precarious thoughts and STILL not know how to overcome them. In other cases, it may even be a while before we realize that our thoughts have taken us for a terrifying ride. You have this extraordinary faculty, a gift of God, called mind. And the constitution of the mind is thoughts. And the direction of thoughts plays such a significant role in your mental well-being and to give it a direction, is purely left to your intellect. I can right now ask this question from my intellect. Why is this a super day? And will give me 100 reasons why it is a super day and I can ask the same mind. Why today is not such a good day? And it’ll give me 100 reasons why it is not. Why is this relationship the best thing that has happened, even a relationship where you have been hurt, you can ask this question, why is this relationship still the best thing that could have happened to you in life? And your mind will give you answers.

Your mind simply answers the questions you ask

Because your mind simply answers the questions you ask. Your mind simply runs in that direction. You said through your questions, take up a stretch goal and simply ask this question, why do you believe you can achieve it? Or how do you believe you can achieve it? and you will be amazed. After the first few minutes of inertia the way it will start supplying you with ideas. Your mind, don’t have to ask anybody else. And the same mind can be asked this question why you think it cannot be achieved, and it will give you a thousand reasons why it is not possible to achieve.

With this one simple direction when you look at many of our life, so much focus on what others do and what others do not do or what others should have done and did not do. When the only meaningful thing in life is not what others are doing and what others are not doing. What are you doing and what are you not doing? That’s what you’re in control of. 

Even with this one simple shift in the direction, you’ll see such phenomenal progress in doing justice to the potential you have. Become an opportunist in thinking. In any situation and every situation only think the thoughts that serve your progress. Discipline your mind.

Two, only process thoughts that will serve your progress, and three by simply changing the mental icons with which you process relationship. You change the filter through which you see them. Dark glasses, everything looks dark, transparent glasses, everything looks transparent. Scratch in your spectacles everything looks scratched, not because life is scratched. The scratch is in the spectacles. Sometimes nothing about your life needs to change the spectacles with which you see life or a Rajanikanth style the spectacles with which you see life has to change.

We don’t need new horizons. We just need fresh eyes to see our existing horizons and life is beautiful.

Any dynamic relationship in your life any important relationship in your life where there’s a lot more disturbance and negativity rather than positivity and celebration.

Only one thing has to change, not even the other person. How you see that person has to change.
